Proseed event wrap-up: “Passion for Inclusion” with k. Max Simpson – Apr 20th 2023
Mike Darnell
Last week we had another fascinating Proseed event, and enjoyed the sharing and thoughts from Max Simpson, Founder and CEO at Steps Community, regarding the challenges facing mentally diverse people, and others members of the larger Thai society, who are challenged with disabilities.
We thank Max for their sharing, and invite members of our community who are interested in learning more about how they can support the struggle for inclusivity, to reach out to the Steps Community for information and programs.
Thanks for joining!
It was a very pleasant evening. I thank you all for joining, and for your ongoing support for the children under the care of handsacrossthewater.org.au.
Thank you MAX, and JP!
Usually i write these event summaries myself, but since Jean-Philippe Schildknecht over at Criterion, already wrote a fantastic summary, I’ll just go ahead and post it here (Thanks JP…):

Proseed is grateful for the opportunity to help Hands Across the Water, a registered charity dedicated to saving Thailand’s most vulnerable children from dangerous environments and to provide a home for those without family or relatives. With your help, these kids don’t have to go hungry, miss out on education, face the challenges of life on their own or be forced into undesirable employment.
