Proseed event wrap-up: “The Copper Age – Again” – k. Arthit Prathumpuang – VP at Oriental Copper Co. Ltd – August 24th 2023
Mike Darnell
A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of hosting k. Arthit Prathumpuang, VP at Oriental Copper, at our monthly Proseed event. k. Arthit pleasantly surprised us all with his amazing and insightful talk about the history and future of copper.
This month, thanks to James Wood‘s kind efforts, we again streamed and recorded the entire event, so for those of you who missed out – You’re welcome to check it out:
For the PDF of the evening’s presentation, including k. Arthit’s and our Open Mic pitcher’s presentations, see below:
I want to take this opportunity to thank k. Arthit again for his sharing. Feel free to connect with him on Linkedin.
Thanks for joining!
It was a very pleasant evening. I thank you all for joining, and for your ongoing support for the children under the care of handsacrossthewater.org.au. In total, THB 6,200 were donated to the kids due to this event, and a couple of days later Vic Rollins kindly collected a full car’s worth of clothes, bedding and computers for the them 🙂
OUR NEXT EVENT k. Noah Shepherd – MD at Shepherd Partnership
Our next event will be on the 21st of September. Our speaker will be k. Noah Shepherd. Formerly the Asia-Pacific director for Advanced Manufacturing at Stanley Black & Decker, and a member of the AMCHAM board, & now the MD of shepherd-partnership.com – A consultancy dedicated to “Helping Manufacturing Companies in Thailand“

At Proseed Noah will share the exciting story of his experiences starting up in South Thailand during the wild 90’s. Feel free to send over your questions for k. Noah on our Facebook page.
Until then you’re welcome to join our WEEKLY LUNCHES – Every Friday at 12:30 at Kate’s Place (map).
As per our tradition, at our next event, we’ll invite 3 startups to pitch the crowd for 3 minutes each. This is a 1st-come-1st-served opportunity to pitch your idea to our audience.
Proseed is grateful for the opportunity to help Hands Across the Water, a registered charity dedicated to saving Thailand’s most vulnerable children from dangerous environments and to provide a home for those without family or relatives. With your help, these kids don’t have to go hungry, miss out on education, face the challenges of life on their own or be forced into undesirable employment.
