Proseed event wrap-up: AI – Hope, Hype, and How Things Are – A Cross-Generational Reflection – Panel – Feb 19th 2026 – Sponsored by b2bLEAD.ai

Last Thursday we all enjoyed Proseed’s 58th event—AI – Hope, Hype, and How Things Are – A Cross-Generational Reflection, where represenratives of the Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Gen Z shared their insights regarding the current state and the future of AI. My deep thanks to our organizers, attendees, & panelists:

Discussion Points

The panel moved the experiences different generations have with artificial intelligence. What emerged was a layered perspective –

Gen Z views AI as infrastructure—natural, practical, and empowering—an efficiency engine that frees time and amplifies vision.

Gen X stands cautiously in the middle: excited by the creative potential, yet skeptical of hype, emphasizing that output does not equal mastery.

The Baby Boomer perspective framed AI as an irreversible civilizational shift—one that will fundamentally reshape work, governance, and power structures.

Across discussions on job displacement, solopreneurship, bias in large language models, and the future of education, one insight united the room: AI multiplies human intention.

Knowledge-heavy roles may evolve or disappear, but creativity, curiosity, and ethical responsibility remain deeply human.

Whether AI becomes liberation or dependency will depend less on the technology itself—and more on how we choose to design, regulate, and relate to it.

Proseed’s signature authenticity made space for both optimism and discomfort, reminding everyone in the room that the future of AI is not something happening to us—it is something we are actively shaping together.
