K. Wanida is a jewelry professional with more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, including with some of the world’s top jewelry brands. She’s also played key roles in the growth of several Thai manufacturing companies, helping them expand from the ground up to employing between 500- 1,000 workers. K. Wanida is concerned about the way technology is gradually replacing traditional Thai jewelry artisans, leading to a decline in handcrafted skills.

Country Manager at the International Gemological Institute (IGI) for Thailand & Hong Kong
Bob is a 4th-generation diamond industry player. Educated in Belgium, he moved to Bangkok in 1987, where his father established a diamond polishing factory. Bob managed the Greater Asian region for I. Hennig & Co., overseeing diamond operations. He’s been pivotal in developing IGI’s Bangkok lab for 27 years, also managing their Hong Kong office since 2019.
